While depression is typically thought of as having low energy and anxiety as having great significance, anxiety and depression are more closely connected than you may imagine. Anxiety is a common symptom of depression and may even reach the point where panic attacks occur.

What Leads to anxiety?

Even when there is no genuine threat, the fight-or-flight region in these people's brains activates for currently only partially understood reasons. Constant anxiousness is like being pursued by a predator who cannot be seen. There is always a persistent sense of threat. They are constantly on guard.

Why Do People Get Depressed?

According to recent studies, a mix of genetic, biochemical, environmental, and psychological variables contribute to depression. Although it may happen at any age, it frequently starts in maturity. Depression in children and adolescents may manifest more as irritation than poor mood, similar to many anxiety disorders.

Treatment for anxiety and depression disorders is most successful when both problems are addressed, just as anxiety and depression tend to worsen when they coexist.
